On Sunday night, Women 2.0 and TEDxBayArea TEDWomen will be awarding one team at Women 2.0 Startup Weekend “Best Mobile App for Women”, designed to empower women through mobile technology. We are encouraging the development of mobile apps for women to enter the mWomen Mobile App Challenge announced by Hillary Clinton in October 2010 to improve the lives of women in the developing world by using mobile phones. The team with the best mobile app for women receives FREE passes to TEDxBayArea TEDWomen and are invited to showcase their app at the event.
